b. OnWindows7,clickComputer.Scrolldowntheleftpaneuntilyousee“Network”.Rightclick
andselectproperties.Select“Changeadapterse ttings”
4. Youshouldseeaniconforyournetworkinterfacecard(NIC).Rightclickandselectproperties.
a. Scrolldownuntilyousee“InternetProperties(TCP/IP)”.Selectthisitemandclickthe
Propertiesbutton.
b. OnWindows7andVista,lookfor“(TCP/IPv4)”
5. Selecttheoption“UsethefollowingIPaddress”.Thenentertheaddress“10.10.10.11”.Thiswillgive
yourPCanIPaddressthatisonthesamesubnetasthedrive.Windowswillknowtodirectanytraffic
intendedforthedrive’sIPaddresstothisinterfacecard.
